Yoga can provide many benefits to everyone.  At every level, from beginners to seasoned yogis, yoga helps foster the following important benefits to your body and mind: 

  • Strengthens, tones and lengthens muscles, ligaments and tendons; easing back, hip and neck pain;
  • Strengthens bones;
  • Lubricates joints, helping ease and prevent arthritis and making joints feel better;
  • Massages all organs of the body bringing greater health and functionality to the organs and increased health to the entire body;
  • Increases flow of lymphatic fluid, removing toxins, unhealthy cells, bacteria and virus from the body; and
  • Calms the nervous system, reducing blood pressure, stress, and calming the mind.

Class Descriptions:____meet the Yoga Instructors

Yoga for Everyone:  This yoga class is appropriate for all levels.  Poses and breathwork will be adapted to individual needs, allowing for each pose to be performed at any level.

Gentle Yoga:  This yoga class is appropriate for anyone wanting to do more gentle yoga poses including seniors, those with arthritis or stiffness or who would like less rigorous movement.

Power Yoga:  This yoga class is appropriate for anyone who is interested in a vigorous, strengthening yoga practice and/or those who would like to practice more advanced poses.

Yoga CDs: We have yoga CDs available if you prefer to practice in the comfort of your own home.  The yoga CD contains an hour hatha yoga class (along with a poster showing the poses) and is appropriate for anyone who has done yoga previously.  The meditation CD contains three guided meditations to help calm the body and mind.  Both CDs were created by Jacqueline and are great holiday gifts.
