| The purpose of your initial exam is to determine if we can help you. If we feel we can help you we will tell you, if not we will tell you that as well. If we feel we can not help you we will refer you to someone who we feel can best treat you.
The initial exam consists of a detailed history and a physical exam.
The exam is functional and includes range of motion measurements, spinal and extremity joint evaluation as well as orthopedic and neurological testing. If you are a runner, it might also include a running gait analysis.
Many patients comment that our exams are the most thorough they have ever had.
